Lining
pans is important so that the cakes come out of
the pan without breaking or sticking to the base
of the pan. This method is simple, but will
help ensure your cakes success.

Place the pan on a piece of waxed paper, draw
around the base with a pencil and cut out the
paper inside this line.

Grease the base and sides of the pan with melted
butter or soft margarine and stick the piece of
paper in neatly. Grease the paper.
It is now ready for the cake batter.
